Ingredients

  • 12 thick pretzel rods
  • 12 oz chocolate melting wafers dark, milk, or white
  • 1-2 tsp neutral or coconut oil optional, to thin
  • pastel sprinkles, crushed mini eggs, shredded coconut, or drizzle candy melts for decorating

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Tall glass
  • Parchment

Method

  1. Air fry the pretzel rods at 300°F for 2 to 3 minutes for extra crunch, then cool.
  2. Melt the chocolate in 20 to 30-second bursts, stirring each time, until smooth. Stir in a little oil if it's thick. Pour into a tall glass.
  3. Submerge about two-thirds of each rod, twist as you pull it out, and let the excess drip off.
  4. Roll or sprinkle with toppings immediately, then set on parchment until firm.

Notes

A tall glass lets you coat each rod in one clean dip.
Decorate before the chocolate sets — you have seconds.
Melting wafers set firmer than baking chips.
