Ingredients

For the bites
  • 1 lb skinless salmon cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • kosher salt and black pepper
For the spicy glaze
  • 2 tbsp hot honey or honey
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Small bowl
  • Whisk
  • Paper towels

Method

  1. Whisk the honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and chili flakes.
  2. Pat the salmon cubes dry and season lightly with salt. Toss with half the glaze.
  3. Arrange in a single layer and cook at 400°F (205°C) for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway.
  4. Toss with the remaining glaze in the last 2 minutes.
  5. Garnish and serve hot.

Notes

Dial the heat by cutting the sriracha and chili flakes in half; the honey holds the glaze together.
Glaze at the end so it clings rather than pools.
