Measure and combine: Add all ingredients to a small mixing bowl. If using buttermilk powder, include it; if you want a dairy-free base, leave it out.
Mix thoroughly: Whisk until everything looks evenly combined.
Break up any clumps, especially in the powders.
Grind for a finer texture (optional): For air fryer use, pulse the mix in a spice grinder or blender 3–5 times. A finer mix sticks better to food.
Taste and adjust: Pinch a little between your fingers and taste. Add more salt, dill, or pepper to match your preference.
Store properly: Transfer to an airtight jar.
Label with the date and whether it contains dairy.
