Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon 6 oz each, skin-on
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • kosher salt and black pepper
  • chopped parsley to garnish

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Small bowl
  • Meat thermometer
  • Paper towels

Method

  1. Stir the melted butter with the garlic, lemon zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pat the fillets dry and brush generously with the garlic butter.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (205°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Cook skin-side down 6 to 9 minutes, until the fish flakes.
  5. Baste with the remaining garlic butter, add a squeeze of lemon juice, and scatter parsley.

Notes

Fresh garlic: powder does not give the same aroma or glaze.
Don't let the garlic scorch: keep it in the butter, not loose on the fish surface.
