Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon about 6 oz each, skin-on
  • 3 tbsp butter melted
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • kosher salt and black pepper
  • lemon wedges to serve

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Small bowl
  • Whisk
  • Meat thermometer
  • Paper towels

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (205°C) for 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Stir the melted butter with the garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pat the fillets dry and brush generously with the garlic butter.
  4. Cook skin-side down 6 to 9 minutes, depending on thickness, without flipping.
  5. Baste with the remaining garlic butter and let the residual heat gloss the top. Rest 2 minutes.

Notes

No flipping: leaving the fillets undisturbed keeps them moist and intact.
Fresh garlic over powder here; it is the whole point of the dish.
