Ingredients

For the pudding
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk per package
  • 1 cup whipped topping or whipped cream
For the crumble
  • 1/2 package refrigerated cookie dough or 12 chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1 tbsp melted butter if using sandwich cookies
  • salt a pinch
To top
  • gummy worms, mini chocolate eggs, pastel sprinkles
  • green-dyed coconut or green sprinkles for grass

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Whisk
  • Parchment
  • Clear cups

Method

  1. Whisk the pudding mix with the cold milk 2 minutes, chill 5 to 10 minutes until thick, then fold in the whipped topping.
  2. Cookie dough method: crumble onto parchment and air fry at 330°F for 6 to 8 minutes until set, then chop. Sandwich cookie method: crush, toss with the butter and salt, and air fry 2 to 3 minutes to toast.
  3. Layer pudding and warm crumble in clear cups, ending with a thick crumble 'dirt' layer.
  4. Add gummy worms, chocolate eggs, and green coconut 'grass'.

Notes

Warm crumble against cold mousse is the whole appeal.
Chill the pudding until thick before layering so it holds.
Assemble close to serving so the crumble stays crunchy.
