Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon 6 to 8 oz each, about 1 inch thick
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp whole-grain mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • kosher salt and black pepper
  • chopped parsley to garnish

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Small bowl
  • Whisk
  • Meat thermometer
  • Paper towels

Method

  1. Whisk the Dijon, whole-grain mustard, olive oil, honey, lemon juice, and garlic.
  2. Pat the fillets completely dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (205°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Arrange the fillets skin-side down in a single layer. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, brushing on half the glaze at the halfway point.
  5. Brush with the remaining glaze in the last minute, then rest 2 minutes. Garnish and serve.

Notes

Thickness: add 2 to 3 minutes for fillets thicker than an inch.
Brush halfway so the glaze sets in stages rather than sliding off.
