Ingredients

  • 8 flour tortillas 6 to 8 inch, thin
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheese cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a melty blend
  • chopped ham, shredded chicken, or sautéed peppers optional filling
  • butter or oil spray
  • salt, smoked paprika, or taco seasoning a pinch
  • salsa, guacamole, sour cream to serve

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Bunny cookie cutter
  • Pastry brush

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. Cut bunny shapes from the tortillas with a cookie cutter, pressing firmly for clean edges.
  2. Top half the shapes with a thin, even layer of cheese and any add-ins — don't overstuff.
  3. Cover with a matching shape and lightly brush or spray both sides with butter. Season if you like.
  4. Cook in a single layer 3 to 5 minutes, flipping halfway, until crisp and golden and the cheese melts. Serve with dips.

Notes

Thin tortillas crisp best.
Flat, even filling so the two halves seal.
Save the scraps — air fry them with cinnamon sugar for a snack.
